Welcome to FlossMoms.com!

Have you ever taken a moment to consider just how big the world is and just how different our little sections are?

Not only do we speak different languages, eat different foods, have different landscapes and different governmental systems - but we also have different opportunities when it comes to supplies for cross-stitching. For example, those of us within the United States find it easy to find floss but quite difficult to locate international stitching magazines.

The "Floss Moms" program was created to help match people within the United States (sometimes Canada) with adoptees from all over the world in hopes that we can share and benefit from swapping everything from magazines to floss while making friends around the globe.

Thanks for stopping in!

  Small Change - Quota

March 2008

After some serious thought we have finally placed a limit on how many adoptees one mom can adopt - 10. This shouldn't effect most users on the site, and should give some other moms a better chance at picking up an adoptee. Enjoy. =)

  A Couple of Site Updates

A page has been added regarding how to send birthday greetings to those in other other countries. You'll find it over there in the left main menu under Saying Happy Birthday. If there are languages I've missed (I'm sure I have...) then use the form at the bottom of the page to let me know. Thanks!

Secondly, I have posted a page for shopping in the US. Hoping to give Floss Kids a better idea of what many Floss Moms have access to at our bigger stores.

And lastly, I added an example swap between myself and my Floss Kid, Raffaella in Italy.

I deeply apologize for my absence from the site lately as real life health and emotional issues have crept up and pounced lately. I promise to be more on the ball in the future. Thanks for your patience. ~IaGal
